“Wagyu Yakiniku Ichiro” was invited to the "WORLD WAGYU CHAMPIONSHIP" Auction in March and successfully bid for the second prize of the “Best Beef Award” in the Auction in Japan.
In view of the growing popularity in the global Japanese Yakiniku culture, especially a high-profile premium Wagyu, it is a continuous rise in the demand and quality of Wagyu. To facilitate the food industry and customers, the Auction of Japan was successfully held on 25th March at the "Wagyu Master Meat Center" in Himeji City, Higashi-Cho. In contrast to other auctions, top 100 premium quality Wagyu from over 150 Wagyu of the specific or regional breeds were selected for bidding, and it covered 100 famous brands of Wagyu from 17 different regions in Japan. However, for the first time, foreign buyers were officially invited to participate in this auction, which attracted the world's top restaurants and well-known Japanese Wagyu buyers from more than ten countries and regions, including America, Europe, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, etc.
There were only four levels of awards for Wagyu at the Auction, including “Honorary Award”, “Best Beef Award”, “Excellent Award”, and “Good Award”. The highlight is that “Wagyu Yakiniku Ichiro” successfully bid for the second prize of the “Best Beef Award”.
